Just a snowy Sunday morning where you feel like eating warm, fluffy pancakes and stay inside, under a duvet.
Or maybe just sneak outside for half an hour of fun in the fresh snow.
To make a snowman.
Or just to feel the delicate snow getting crushed under your feet.
And see a landscape that looks like an iced cake.
Loving it.
Happy snowy Sunday everyone!

40gr unsalted butter, melted.
1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
150ml buttermilk.
1 large egg
In
a bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and
baking soda. Add the melted butter, vanilla,
buttermilk, and the egg and mix until batter is smooth.
Preheat
a pan over medium heat. (I used my wonderful cast iron Pancakes plate from my electrical crêpe maker that I received for Christmas. It has 7 holes which make cooking pancakes really easy and fast! But I use it on the stove as the electrical resistance doesn't heat that much.)
Add a bit of melted butter in your pan to stop the pancake from sticking.
Pour a bit of batter in your pan and cook for approx. 2min, until some bubbles start to form on the surface and the edges look cooked.
Flip the pancake and cook for one more minute.
Keep pancakes warm on a plate in your oven until the household is awake and ready to devour them.
I like to serve them with a variety of jams, golden syrup, maple syrup, fresh fruits, yoghourt, and sugar.
Just a note to Mr Pierre Hermé : Thank you.
I have never been a big fan of the "N" chocolate spread. But I can now understand the sudden urge that some people feel when they see a pot of "N" and just want to dip their spoon in it.
Your spread is without a doubt one of the best that can be tasted. And with no scary additives. Just beautiful ingredients and flavour.
c'est bien beau et bon, tout çà.
